With the temperatures of 27 this first warm weekend of the season gave promises of a summer to really look forward to. The new outside tables were put together and put to good use. There was lots of activity around the club with people getting their new places ready. Brandon and Norma were clearing out their old caravan and starting to work on their new chalet. Dave and Sue worked hard to prepare their new plot and then put up their new tent. It's lovely to see the hive of activity around the club at the moment with everyone getting ready for the season.
Unfortunately due to ill health Safety First were unable to play but we enjoyed which may be the last game of indoor skittles as the new flooring is being installed very soon. The boys did beat the girls two games in a row so it was suggested that the boys play using their least dominant hand. It was a bit of fun and although it did prove difficult for them they still managed to beat the girls yet again.
A big thank you to Ricky for standing in after the skittles to play some music for everyone
On Sunday a much loved couple came to say goodbye to everyone as sadly they are no longer able to come to the club due to ill health. It was lovely to see them and they will be missed. We would like to send them our best wishes and hope they will be able to pop in to see us again occasionally.
On the 4th May the Pizza oven will be lit if anyone would like to make a pizza.
