The Pong and Cup games were held on Saturday evening with Glenis acting as judge. I suspect there was lots of cheating going on that was undetected because the whole evening was mayhem and it was difficult to watch everyone!
Glenis drew the names of everyone who was playing out of a hat to form 4 teams with the team Captains being drawn as Peter, Richard, Bonnie and Tracey.
The Pavillion erupted into total chaos as the games started. Steve as usual was going 1000 mph getting the games ready and underway. Before you could draw breath from one game you was rushed into another! There were cups and ping pong balls flying all over the Pavillion throughout the evening with lots of accompanying cheering and laughter.
I hope everyone enjoyed themselves, they certainly seemed to. Throughout the games Peter's team was a clear favourite by having the highest score right up until the last 2 games where Richard's team caught up. The result was surprising as Peter's and Richard's teams drew to both take 1st place with scores of 41. Bonnie and Tracey's teams took joint 2nd with scores of 35.
Well done everyone who took part, these events are nothing without you. I love the way we all get behind the events and join in to make it fun and a success, thank you.
